Handcrafted in Amagasaki, Japan, each Grande uomo leather guitar strap is born from the hands of dedicated artisans who have spent years refining their craft. From the careful selection of hides to the final stitch, every step is carried out under one roof, ensuring that no detail is left to chance. The leather we use is chosen hide by hide, with only the densest, most resilient portions of each skin making the cut. Our proprietary G-Premium leather, developed in direct collaboration with a Japanese tannery, combines vegetable tannin and a trace of chrome to achieve a softness and purity that standard leathers simply cannot offer. Hand-dyed, studded, embroidered, or pieced together in patchwork, every strap carries the distinct vision of the craftsman who made it. We do not mass-produce. We do not replicate. What leaves our atelier is a one-of-a-kind companion for your instrument and your story

革を仕入れる時、Grande uomoの職人は一枚一枚を自分の目で見て、手で触れて選びます。この革ならどんな表情のストラップになるのか、選びながらすでに考えはじめています。私たちのものづくりは、革を裁つ前から始まっています。

すべてここからはじまる。
兵庫県尼崎市の住宅街にある日本家屋。Grande uomoのギターストラップは、すべてこの一棟から生まれています。革の仕入れから裁断、染色、縫製まで、外に出る工程はひとつもありません。
このアトリエには、庭に桜が咲き、鳥や虫が出入りし、季節ごとに景色が変わる日常があります。そうした環境の中で常に手を動かしているからこそ、職人たちの作品にも、工場では生まれない温かみが宿っています。
この屋根の下には、手染め、スタッズ、パッチワーク、刺繍と、まったく異なる技術を持つ職人たちが集まっています。それぞれの発想と技術が一つの工房の中で混ざり合うからこそ、他にはない一本が生まれます。
